My father was abusive as I grew up. The drug war is also abusive. It permanently scars Americans. A student is refused government assistance if ever convicted of a drug offense. Your career is ruined, and most likely you'll never hold a steady, good paying job again. Drug users are seen as the abusers, when in reality it is the government, law enforcement and corrupt judicial leaders who are committing the abuse. Religious ideology and dogma do not make good government, and they rarely make good parenting either.
