Corporate

I hate the way corporations kill a lot of scientific research, especially in computer science. Software patents just make no sense sometimes. They're usually too ambiguous to really model something. It's left to your imagination what the end product looks like. They can sue you from so many angles you stand no chance. It's literally criminal I reason. The government has a patent on synthetic THC, and it comes at a cost to the patient. That patent's coming towards its end however. The government will try something sneaky I'm sure.
