Nanosilver

Nano silver -- or colloidal silver -- is basically nano-sized particles of silver suspended in purified water. It kills all sorts of bacteria and viruses, including HIV/AIDS. Before the discovery of penicillin colloidal silver was used often as a “cure-all” and prescribed as a topical antibiotic. With the cheaper alternatives people simply stopped using colloidal silver – until the 1990s that is. Today it is seen by many as a “cure-all” again, but not by everybody. The EPA wants to ban it. They call it a pesticide. If you want to help stop this, write your representative today and ask them to vote no on any legislation banning, or in any way restricting, the nano silver market.

I've also thought about using nano silver in my watercooling loop. It's kind of expensive, but sometimes water cooling's more about bling than it is anything else. Sadly I can't afford it, but I think it's a cool idea.
