There is a wonderful community of peaceful, loving humans, and they're the transgendered community. Since I know stigma, I can relate with these beautiful people. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, diversity is inevitable. No amount of bigotry or religious morals are going to change that.
I've always been a feminine guy. I hate sports. I don't like car races. I don't drink beer (or any alcohol for that matter). I don't get guys, period. I can't relate with them outside of technology. In many ways I have philosophies which one wouldn't normally consider a guy's beliefs. My best friends have always been female. However, I do have masculine qualities as well. Everyone has a balance of masculinity and femininity that makes up their person. Due to this balance and my demeanor, people usually assume I am gay. It is something I have learned to accept. I am attracted to femininity, not masculinity. I like women. A male-to-female transgender female who likes a male is also not gay. In fact, it's just the wrong term when refering to the transgender community, so don't use it.
Slowly but surely these wonderful people are defeating the odds, and as a human rights advocate, I plan on being one of their strong supporters.
